This help in preventing further hair loss and hair restoration on the scalp. Another medicine is Finasteride that is marketed as Propecia is also helpful in treating male pattern baldness. This medicine is taken in form of a one milligram pill per day. It helps in treating the hair loss by balancing the level of DHT hormones in the body that cause hair fall in men. One of the main disadvantages of both medicines is that when the patient discontinued the use, he initially gets the same symptoms of baldness that he got before treatment.
